For those of you feeling a bit marginalised with all this flathunting malarkey I would like to stress that we are a gay-friendly, pet-friendly, smoker-friendly and football-friendly (it being a world cup year and all) household. So if you have a gay pet that likes the odd smoke and supports Arsenal you may have found the perfect home.

Seriously though, we're looking for a lovely and interesting flatmate to share our three bedroom flat, it's a converted two-storey Victorian terrace on a nice quiet street. The room is available furnished. Wooden flooring in communal areas, carpeted in bedrooms. Shared bathroom with shower/bath, kitchen with usual mods. Cosy shared living room with sofa bed for guests and a good (depending on your tastes) VHS/DVD/LP collection. There is a garden space which could do with quite a lot of love and attention. Very close to Ridley Rd Market and Kingsland Shopping Centre. London Fields and Broadway Market (fab organic food) are just a short walk away. There are also lots of great local pubs around and it's just 15mins by bus to Shoreditch, Whitechapel and Angel.

Nice friendly, laid-back atmosphere sharing with two gals (British-Sri Lankan and Japanese). I'm 36 and work for a dvd label, Maki is 31 and works in fashion. We both enjoy a beer/glass of wine or two.

We're not fussed about gender/sexuality - just looking for someone relaxed, easy-going and open-minded who wouldn't mind being called upon to remove the occasional eight-legged visitor. It's great meeting people from different cultures/countries so travellers are especially welcome. Pets (in particular cats) are also welcome. An interest in the arts (especially film) would be great but not essential. Our other interests inlcude gigs, photography, woodwork, fashion and Arsenal.

The rent covers all utilities, council tax, tv licence, and broadband.

We have a cleaner who comes every fortnight (also included in the rent).

On-street parking is available on application of permit - £25 for 3 months, £45 for 6 months.
